One of the best games ever

Carefully crafted story, every side-quest feels a little different, game feels very polished. The world feels lived-in, the characters feel real, with their own unique personalities and motifivations. A lot of this is due to the books and previous games building the groundwork for the plot, but CDPR has artfully expanded on it in The Witcher 3.

Fantastic game!

Never played this and picked it up here in 2024. I'm loving it and am engrossed in the story. I think the graphics are awesome and I've dialed in the colors via monitor settings. I found an ultrawidescreen (witcher aspect ratio fix) fix that allows the cutsceens to play correctly (3440x1440). A couple of janky things happen as can be expected, but overall plays great.

Witcher 1 a true classic

I got to Witcher 1 late, but man this game really holds up as an RPG all timer. It has some annoying boss fights, and you have to learn the rythem of the combat, but ohterwise this game excells at the Witcher fantasy more than the others. I may like 3 a bit more, but 3 wishes it went this hard into Swordplay, alchemy, and interesting Monster hunts. 9/10, would be a 10 but sadly the Bargeist boss fight exists.
