A nice game with a lot of problems.
The game seems poorly optimized, be prepared to see big frame drops the moment it starts to rain, and then even more when it starts to storm.
The game can softlock at any time you talk to any NPC. Talking to lots of NPC's lots of times in order to not only do quest and progress the story but also to get your popularity up, which is the only way to make a consistent income, means this is a serious problem. But it gets worse, you cannot manually save this game without skipping time (ending your current day), so this problem becomes a real nightmare.
Then there is the problem with picking up items from the game world, in a normal game all you would have to do is stand close enough to the item and click on it, but not in this game, in this game you also have to be facing your character model towards the item, this is rather annoying. But it gets worse, because your character model cannot spin on a dime, it instead has this weird slow turning motion while also moving, so if you want to pick up a item (which you will have to do for the majority of the game) but you overshoot the item you can't just turn around and get it, you have to walk a distance away from the item, then turn around, and then approach the item again, very frustrating. But it gets worse again, because some of the items have borked hit-boxes and trying to pick them up is asinine.
And then there is item rarity, 4 levels of it, suffice to say inventory management in this game is a nightmare. Crafting stations also don't recognize items in chests.
This is also one of those game where having a wiki open at all times is mandatory if you want to make any kind of progress.
But for me the biggest flaw the game has is the magic, it is just so underwhelming, no effort went into it all all, you have no cool spells to toy with. There are only a handful of magical things you can do, like making it rain for a day, the rest is just pointless stats or a thing you have to do for a quest. Very disappointing.
