Unplayable

1st I installed the German language and in-game everything is set to English (iam able to understand english but i installed the german version!!) 2nd when i want to enter any campaign the game wants an Serial number/key..... wtf? I bought the game and want to play it! 😡 It even says here on the page "DRM FREE. No activation or online connection required to play." I want my money back!

Not DRM-free

Game keeps asking for a CD-KEY and is unplayable. The only way around is to allow game to connect to internet through Galaxy. Not a DRM-free experience.

summary

+ wanted to play out of nostalgia +on sale on GOG, and 'seemed' hassle free to just click play -instantly installs the galaxy launcher (understandable) -only launches through the (online?) galaxy launcher (DRM free?) -keeps asking for serial key and too much hassle /too lazy to fix this myself refunded in less than 15min :)

The last great Settlers for a long time

This was the ultimate Settlers game for a long time to come. S2 was fantastic title but S3 improved on almost everything. Sadly, next three Settlers games went progressively downhill. It took BlueByte ten years to put the franchise back on track with the excellent S7.
