Best economic-staregy ever made
It's one of my beloved games of my childhood. Challenging and diverse missions, great balance between the races, beautiful graphics which didn't aged a bit, good soundtrack. Some BUGs from time to time and few minor problems in gameplay, especially on our Settlers AI but in general it's great game, my favorite in series. In my opinion. it's also the best economical strategy of all time ;)

Good game, Gog fails
Game is amazing as you already know since you are here. But the version here on Gog fails constantly and crashes at unexpected moments during gameplay.

Nostalgic but bad optimization
Pros: -It's The Settlers 3 like we all remember from our childhood -Change resolution with the press of a button Cons (windows 10): -Obnoxiously loud music plays that can only be turned off manually by renaming the music folder -Can't alt+tab out of the game, have to ctrl+alt+del and select task manager -If u run multiple screens and accidentally move your cursor outside the game window and click anywhere on any of the other screens, your screen where the game was on is locked/non responsive. Only signing out user or restarting the computer fixes it.
