When litle boy, my parents had an amerga and there was a lot of wonderful games on it and one of does games was the prequel The settlers 1 and I played it day out and day in coz it was so wonderful. I remmeber that one of my best freinds was mad on me because I had that game and that his computer could not read it because his computer was dos^^ I have played all the games so far and I liked the first and sequel best but I still enjoy playing them. thanks for adding them here GOG.com
Pros:
-Many hours of fun, could replay it 100 times and not get bored.
-Graphics hold up to this day thanks to clean and "readable" style much like HoMM3.
-Unspoiled with SJW and PC propaganda.
-Economy is well developed but not complicated so its easy to learn.
Cons:
-Remember buying this game some 15y ago in box with goodies like posters, guide book and such for about 2€, it's funny how digital distribution helped us drive game prices down.
-One can loose track of time with this game and I mean days not hours.
-Can get to simple for hardcore citysim/strategy fans after few weeks
