The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition is a weird release. While Xbox owns the developer, Private Division still retains the distribution rights to the first game. Which means the normal free upgrade is not here. Instead we have the definitive version of a great game locked behind some weird monetary decisions. If you never played the original, this is by far the best package available. If you did and are looking to upgrade what is here is nice, but not worth another $60. If you own all the DLC this is a solid $10 upgrade. Still I wish it was more accessible or at least a save transfer existed. It taints an otherwise solid release.

The Outer Worlds is an awesome game, so it's nice to have the option to enjoy it with all the amenities of a new generation of hardware. While the performance is a bit iffy, the visuals really pop, and the updated character models add to your immersion in this imaginative space adventure. It's no surprise we've got a second one on the way, and now you can get ready for the sequel on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in style.

For sheer memorable and engaging gameplay, I recommend The Outer Worlds. It was an absolute delight to play back in 2019, and it still holds up as one of my all-time favorite gaming experiences. I am pleased with the graphical upgrades and enhancements from The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition. Although, with less new content and more new bugs, it should have been a free upgrade for returning players

Fun, but...
Disclaimers: - I didn't buy this game on this platform - I never played the original version before --- Pros: - Nice writing - Many story branching - Encourages solving a situations in many ways* Cons: - Short experience for the price - Need to tweak graphics settings due to random texture pop-ups - Most quests are fetch quest - There is no other ways aside of the ones developers prepared* - Many "major" decision doesn't matter much in the end Overall, it was fun while it lasted. Could get it during a sale.

Didn't expect, how it would pull me in
This game really caught me. Went into this experience with just trying it out, since I had it on my backlog. But after starting new game, I was instantly caught by the narrated story and quite surprisingly nice graphics. Even though my computer isn't some super expensive model, it was able to play this 60+fps on Ultra graphics. And even more surprising was, that when I closed the game, I realized that I've been playing for almost 6 hours, which was really good, because most games that I recently played just pulled me in for few hours and then when I had something else to do, I wasn't able to find anything, that would pull me back in. This is really solid game and I'm excited to play it again soon to finish it and explore, that awaits me next.

Better Buy OG Release
This port is still not fully fixed i face people with rendering issues on daily basis my computer is fraction of their shit and i run OG at 30-60 frames while they face stutters or loads 3 year later remaster didn't remaster enough to justify requirements jump and yes if you run remaster at medium it will look worse than OG on high

I Like It
Interesting FPS. I experienced a lot of crashes on the first world but I love the short loadtimes and how smooth it is. I'm on my 2nd playthrough.
