Serviceable
Some people complain too much about sim/sim-light open-world games, they can all have the full bells and whistles. This one is fine enough, the performance is a bit wonk though. Overall, respectable, might even try their rpg after playing this one, heard it has good performance.

Play for story, gameplay poor.
-Good story and atmosphere so far. -Better companion system than previous games. -Worse combat than previous games. -Worse skill system than previous games. -Worse consumable system than previous games. -Time slow system just worse than vats in everyway especially for melee builds. Systems in previous game's locked behind progression I find this to be terrible. TLDR: Play New vegas instead if you only care about gameplay otherwise enjoy the story it has to offer.

amazing game as and am a first time players and i can tell this is a great amazing fun game my pc runs it well with just small fps drops which i dont mind at least the game is not moving slow on my pc so am gonna keep it and finish it

Beginning is slow
The game itself is wonderful, if you like fallout you'll love this series. The combat is typical of your fps story/survival games, but I always tend to like those anyways. The game itself is beautiful, and performs wonderfully. My only issue is how slow the beginning is, you have to do multiple quests before you can even start going out into actual space. Speaking of going into space, you cannot fly your ship, you can only use the navigation to bring you into a loading screen that brings you to the next planet. Other than those, So far i love the game and would recommend it
