The Little Acre follows the story of Aidan and his daughter, Lily, set in 1950’s Ireland. After discovering clues as to the whereabouts of his missing father, Aidan begins investigating until he inadvertently finds himself transported to a strange new world. Ever the hero, Lily sets off after him, encountering her own perils along the way. Featuring full voice-acting and hand-drawn animation, The Little Acre is a memorable, lovingly crafted adventure game.

The Little Acre is a game with an extremely appropriate name. A lot of love and attention has gone into the game's distinctive hand drawn art style but it comes at the cost of the game's length. Despite a promising start, the game ends at just two hours. Most characters are not developed, important events are glossed over and the story ends abruptly. Children would be entertained with gameplay that is accessible to all ages, but adults will likely want to find something more substantial to entertain them.

Great game falling short...

Cute adventure but very, very short. Nice but not incredible. Mixed feelings, story is great but so little is told... Some poor moments. Too bad. But great game anyhow.

Doesn't work in Ubuntu 16.04

It does not work on Ubuntu 16.04, 64 bit.
