Released in 2000 as the 2nd installment in the Nests Saga, THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2000 features an improved Striker call system with the Active Striker System, which allows the player to call his Striker character in any situation, whether he is attacking or being attacked by the opponent, allowing him to use their strikers in combos. KOF 2000-Good game, Emulation-based port

The King Of Fighters finally arrives on GOG.com . Part of the iconic fighting series, KOF 2000 provides all that is expected of a NEO GEO fighter. The GOG release is supplied by the same company as the previous Humble Bundle release and acts in an identical way. The default software provides very basic emulation functionality, sound seems to have a slight delay and the interface is simplistic, but the game is playable. The bundled emulation used is not perfect but the purchase includes romsets that can be loaded using alternativ software.

SNK game ports on GOG

Not worth the trouble. Controls are bafflingly bad and only listed for the keyboard. They don't even match what is shown. If you have a controller plugged in it only works during battle and PART of navigating the menus. And 15 seconds for selection of four characters across a roster of 36? There's no way that anyone involved in porting this actually tried to play it.

Good Game, Bad Emulator

the emulator doesn't let you change the control scheme, and it outright lies to you about what buttons do what functions, the game says Q W X and C are your controls, but when you get into an actual match (whether you're using a joystick with keyboard mappings or your actual keyboard) you'll find INSTANTLY that those controls are not true. A is weak kick, Z is weak punch, X is heavy kick, and C is heavy punch. I don't know how ANYONE was expected EVER play this with a keyboard. There is also delay on input, nothing too terrible, until you remember that this series is SNK and SNK LOVES to make their Ai ridiculously hard, so having a delay means you need to think 4 steps ahead. TLDR; Don't buy it here unless you are OK troubleshooting some annoying controller layout things

为童年补票，

历史的原理，我们玩拳皇多过街头霸王，对人物 连招 节奏也更熟悉。不能改键位 所以只给4星，但支持手柄，摇杆应该也可以。价格不高，7元人民币约1美金。曾经一天扔的游戏币都不止这个数。感谢GOG对老游戏的收藏和优化，让我们有地方怀念，追忆。

Warning!

For the controller i recomend to use JoyToKey to configurate the keyboard, as one with an xbox one control. Good with the graphics. The best game of kof series! But a real shame that you cant configurate almost nothing...
