Nostaligic, but not LucasArts' best
Decent point-n-click adventure, good score, interesting environments and story. Sadly a lot of the puzzles are esoteric (I defitnitely had to consult a walkthrough when I first played it back in the day), and there's no clear direction on what to do next, leading to a lot of backtracking and sitting though slow walk cycles.

Underrated GEM of a P&C adventure game.
It's a sci-fi exploration/puzzle game and it's a pretty good one at that. While this is not the best LucasArts adventure game, there's still a lot to like here. The music is PERFECT! The art style is great, if not a little dated for a CD-ROM game from 1995 (though, to be fair, we're now so far removed from that year that we can still appreciate it for the nostalgia). It was one of the few LucasArts adventure games to try and take itself seriously. The voice acting is a little wooden. Orson Scott Card's dialog was surprisingly weak. The writing was a little flat. Play this point-and-click adventure game for the exploration, the art, and the gorgeous music. Still one of my favorites.
