Yes, it is Soldiers Of Fortune
Just a quick heads up for the people who have been complaining - The Chaos Engine is the original UK title of the game on PC, Amiga and Atari ST. When it was ported to SNES and Genesis/Megadrive, the US releases were retitled as Soldiers Of Fortune. So, not a rip-off, it's the original game.

Disappointed
I like the way the game plays, it feels and sounds like the original. However, I can't help but be disappointed because the actual the game feels so unfinished. The lack of options, the slow frame-rate and the poorly implemented co-op. Must admit it is easier to play the original Amiga version via emulators (just as much fun, maybe even more so).

Awful stale relaunch
The original The Chaos Engine on the Amiga is my favourite game of all time, but this is just awful. You are better off running an emulator. No need for classic mode, and it runs much smoother to boot.

Don't buy this, use WinUEA instead
I've tried this port and I was DEEPLY disappointed. The colors are rubbish, the game lags and the special effects which were tacked on are just out of place. If you load up WinUAE and the original Chaos Engine image files you will get the original Chaos Engine experience. Here is a longplay I've made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8QAcdowPr8

Great Game _ Worst than lazy port
It was one of the best top down shooters of the Amiga years and had one of the best artificial intelligence for its day so I did not hesitate clicking that buy now button. It turned out to be one of my worst decisions. There is that awful anti aliasing effect and they call it as a visual enhancement. Even in the picture shown in the how to play section shows how bad the effect is. I don't want to write anymore about that terrible port and lastly I'd recommend you play it on the SNES, Genesis/MD or Amiga emulators rather than buying that disappointing version.
