I'm impressed.

You are a hunter in a surreal an unhospitable world where creatures are both your prey and your hunters, they can see you, hear you and smell you. There’s a day/night cycle with weather effects that can hinder or help you, there’s no map or compass, but your spirit arrows work as a light source in the deepest darkness or as a scouting tool to get your bearings. So, thread carefully, pay attention to your surroundings and try to avoid unfavorable winds. Uncover secrets to unravel the history of the land and gain gear upgrades, but don’t rush, or you might end up dead before you can “lock in” your experience points. Great visuals, great music and directional sound to keep you immersed, this game is great for those of us that want to play a sneaky character and have no issues with “paying attention” as the most important game mechanic. If you liked Thief, you'll probably like this one.

No fun that lasts for long.

Game looks promising at first, but gets repetitive very fast. You don't have a map and sneek around most times without any destination to follow. This makes it hard to impossible to find the things you need to proceed in progress. You will find yourself facing enemies you cannot defeat with the gear you have. The only possibility you have is to find the next stage by chance. Textures look very rough. Mud is simply brown and rock is simply white. It is the same texture over and over. All in all - the Idea is great but lacks variety and a little guidance. Boring textures and repetitive environment lost me rather quickly.

Not for everyone but scratches an itch.

This game definitely isn't for everyone, but for me, it scratches some itch. Yeah, some mechanics are clunky, the minimalism of the interface and goals is taken too far in some ways, but the aescetic is unmatched, and it's overall such a different experience that I can't help but like it.

It's pretty bad!

One of the things this games page brags about is that the land is bigger then skyrim. In this case it's a bad thing... huge open areas with little or nothing in them, surrounded by sheer cliffs. This accurately describes EVERY area in the game. Most games have you stay by the roads because the things out from them can kill you until you level up and then after that point you can go cross country. That's not possible here; the entire map is designed like some sort of fully enclosed mouse maze! How's the combat? It's alirght... thought in ~6 hours of gameplay, I only found wood and fire arrows, leaving me unable to kill some enemies. Enemies don't have resistance and vulnerabilities... instead they have IMMUNITIES and some of them have vulnerabilities. This means you will often be unable to even damage some of the enemies in any given area. Game claims it's immersive; it is NOT! The rediculous landscapes and almost constant spawning of enemies as I walk around leaves me with NO immersion at all since I don't usually don't have time to look at the scenery! There are giant skeletons all over the place; this starts off being cool, but then becomes a very pointless thing as you realize they are everywhere. For something like that to be special, it needs to be rare, not the most common thing in the game! Most of the UI is on your bow and gloves. This is not immersive.. on the contrary, the bow is usually glowing an obnoxious amount! The majority of the ui is perfectly understandable, except for the health indicator.. which never made any sense. At no point did I ever understand how much health I had! There's notes around the map, but they are nearly unreadable. This game doesn't have an alternate read mode to allow you to read them easier, so I never did get to read most of them. There's no text or ui scaling. There's magic, but the passives are the only ones that matter. Active magic doesn't last long enough to have any effect!
