Experience the events leading up to the decisive final battle for the fate of mankind in the war against the machines. There's not much to say other than that this is the true prequel to Terminator 3, a game that you will enjoy from start to finish for fans of Terminator 1 and 2.
Post: If you are looking for a greater immersion in the game, I recommend the T1 and T2 Classic Music mod, which greatly improves the gaming experience and even more so at the end.
I played this game on steam, and the upcoming DLC put the game back on my newsfeed. I thoroughly enjoyed it. As a few other reviews have mentioned, even on Extreme difficulty, there wasn't a ton of challenge. But, there have been recent updates to the enemy AI so when I went back to start a new campaign, I found there was much more resistance than the first time around. It seems that the enemy AI has been improved, so gear up for some really tough areas.
All in all, the graphics look great, the sound design is straight out of the first two movies, and there are a ton of easter eggs for the fans.
Its definitely a game made by devs who care (a lot!) about the source material, and it shows. I'd highly recommend this game to any fan of the stealth FPS genre, along with any fans of terminator out there. This game really didn't cut corners and definitely worth every penny.
No fate but what we make.
This is "hands down" the greatest Terminator game to date. The story and gameplay is great. It feels a little dated, but I don't really care. This was a much needed game for the Terminator franchise.
