Colorful, relaxing and never too simple, Tales of the Tiny Planet is a byte-sized puzzle-game perfect for small relaxing sessions or quick breaks. Due to its own nature, where simplicity is the key, I highly recommend to play it on portable devices (Steam Deck; Rog Ally, Lenovo Legion Go et similia).
I played that game in coop with watchers localy. It was great fun and everybody got entertained cause the music and visual are very nice and relaxing but the game gets tricky with time. It was a pity that we reached the last level in under 2 hours because it was really great fun. It's also very easx to explain and also people which aren't used to controllers can play because you only need to press one button
In co-op, each player uses just one button. But when and how long/often you press it, that's getting tricky sometimes. In particular because you have to do it in ensemble playing.
The harmless visuals and funny fails make the game suitable for two children. They laughed a lot.
Additionally, if you are present, they can learn how do be more patient. Also you can teach positive und motivational leadership communication in emotionally intense situations – in general, one is mostly better than the other, and often this role remains with the same person.
But here even a kindergarden child can suddenly have a temporarily superior focus and know better what to do. So you can now show the little one how supportive and encouraging commands work better with his older sibling than reprimanding and blaming.
May be the only game which my 5 years old niece find easy to understand and play, without it making it boring for my 8 years old nephew, and it allows them to play co-op... and it doesn't cause brain rot, makes them think and learn to coordinate... and it's fun... (...actually even for me, and i'm much much older than them...)
