The System Shock remake is the best way to play the PC classic, making it an enjoyable first-person experience for the modern age. However, it still clings to some somewhat outdated mechanics that will frustrate newcomers.

Given its development problems, the fact that System Shock is a functional, stable game is a mini-miracle, but by sticking so rigidly to the original's ancient design it will appeal more to series fans than newcomers.

Worthy Successor
I was convinced this wouldn't do the old games justice and put off playing it for ages... but not I finally have I love it. It has nearly everything that was good about the old games with modern playabilty and a fresh coat of paint!

Pretty Solid
Overall this remake is a really good game, but I has some small bugs and glitches, and (its maybe just my opinion) the melee combat is kinda lacking( but is still far better than most of the games like rust or the forest)
