Syndicate Plus™

The Amiga version of Syndicate was one of the first games I bought, still have the box in very good condition :-) Anyway, this game is quite a gem, a true masterpiece and I can't recommend it enough! :-)

This title thrives on nostalgia, so I thing presentation is the most important part here and possibly the only thing GOG does considering they only wrap DOSBox around it. That is where they failed, selling the title with poorly configured DOSBox. Considering how GOG is all about bringing back the games of yore in a best possible way this is a complete miss considering anyone can do a better job in some 30 minutes visiting some abandonware site or better yet wiping the dust off the original if they have it. The game itself is a classic, but does not justify the price asked. Another thing is that, as all EA releases, the game does not come with it's Expansion pack American Revolt.

*Graphics are excellent & inmortal *Sound is repetitive as hell *Nice Cyberpunk Corporative setting *There is no really tactical thinking it should be tagged as an squad shooter *There is no options in how to compelte an objetive *Buggy pathfinding *Very low to none Charater specialization *Uninspired to repetitve mission objetives *It really doesnt have and ending just end the last mission and your corporation rules the world... *Very empty scenarios *Research/Equiping/Moding is a joke *Commmandos series does this "Tactical squad real time strategy thing" far better should be more rated than this "Classic"...

Syndicate was a firm favorite on the SNES and this is no different. If you played the original, you'll love this. The way GOG is going, with these great deals I swear I will be bankrupt soon!
