At the turn of the millennium, the world of Tahnra is headed for a reckoning. The long and bloody conflict of Veridian Succession left the Empire of Veridia scarred, its people subject to brutal hardships. Under the reign of Empress Florina, the vicious cycle seemed to be broken, until a rogue General abducted her from the capital, mustering his own armies and raising the flag of rebellion. You, a young academy graduate, will command an expedition against these forces… a conflict that will set off a chain of events and shake the very foundations of the world.

The gameplay focuses on grand-scale operations, outwitting and out-planning the opponent, while individual battles are carried out automatically and are thrilling to watch unfold.
- Maneuver squads of up to 9 soldiers across battlefields and seize the advantage by grabbing high ground, holding chokepoints, ambushing from the woods, and more
- Pay attention to the weather, or fall prey to a sudden blizzard or heat wave
- Liberate towns and capture resources to bolster your reputation and sustain your armies
- Break the enemy's morale, while maintaining your own
- Eliminate enemy squad leaders to shatter their chain of command
Tactics win engagements. Logistics win wars. Once the dust settles, it's time to collect the wounded, rally the troops, and prepare for another battle in the long march to peace on Tahnra.
- Assemble squads from more than 50 unit classes, including heavy infantry, archers, shock cavalry, medics, arquebusiers, dragons, battle mages, and more

Amazing combat and story
I am somewhat addicted to this game. There are times when I struggle, but I love it and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys games like Unicorn Overlord or Fire Emblem and is looking for a bit of challenge and customization.

No QoL and just infuriatingly slow
I tried to like it because I usually enjoy this style of games. After clearing the first few missions I just couldn't play further. Pro: - leveling squads and fiddling with the troops and items is fun - the combat system is a variant of Fire Emblem and generally not bad and interesting Contra: - Story is very basic - talking between battles gives you some slight boni and befriends characters but (!) it doesn't give me anything. No choices just some basic text - even with "instant text" the text isn't displayed instantly. Just one sentence after another with realy bad layout and scrolling - everything is infuriatingly slow! Enemy is done with their turn and you want to act? No! Wait a few more seconds for the "Players Turn" popup -.- Something went bad during the beginning of the enemies turn and you want to quick load? NOPE! You have to wait for the whole turn and the "Players Turn" popup and THEN you can finally reload. Not enough QoL to keep playing fo me. Sad

Holds up against classic Fire Emblem
Feels like what Fire Emblem could have become. Really refreshing to go back to the classic formula but with modern quality of life improvements

a worthy successor to ogre battle
I own this game on steam, and honestly its one of my favorite tactical rpg games. I'm not a huge fan of alot of newer tactical rpgs, and this one pulls straight from a classic Trpg ogre battle march of the black queen. some fantastic possibilities with different unit compositions, a lot of classes to explore, and a fucking tech tree. and the dlc adds even more classes and extra story shit. its a damn good game for such a small studio and i hope they add more content or make a sequel.
