At the turn of the millennium, the world of Tahnra is headed for a reckoning. The long and bloody conflict of Veridian Succession left the Empire of Veridia scarred, its people subject to brutal hardships. Under the reign of Empress Florina, the vicious cycle seemed to be broken, until a rogue General abducted her from the capital, mustering his own armies and raising the flag of rebellion. You, a young academy graduate, will command an expedition against these forces… a conflict that will set off a chain of events and shake the very foundations of the world.

The gameplay focuses on grand-scale operations, outwitting and out-planning the opponent, while individual battles are carried out automatically and are thrilling to watch unfold.
- Maneuver squads of up to 9 soldiers across battlefields and seize the advantage by grabbing high ground, holding chokepoints, ambushing from the woods, and more
- Pay attention to the weather, or fall prey to a sudden blizzard or heat wave
- Liberate towns and capture resources to bolster your reputation and sustain your armies
- Break the enemy's morale, while maintaining your own
- Eliminate enemy squad leaders to shatter their chain of command
Tactics win engagements. Logistics win wars. Once the dust settles, it's time to collect the wounded, rally the troops, and prepare for another battle in the long march to peace on Tahnra.
- Assemble squads from more than 50 unit classes, including heavy infantry, archers, shock cavalry, medics, arquebusiers, dragons, battle mages, and more

Great game
Great game, combining turn-based tactics, squad building and unit leveling. Saw being described as a merge of Fire Emblem and Ogre Battle, and it's a very accurate description. Mission maps and turn-based logic is just like fire emblem, while squads and units work just like Ogre Battle. If you like both, this game is a must have. But it must be said its interface is not that improved, and the amount of clicks needed for things like finding out which units could retrained into another class feels like 20 years ago.

Sadly, it needs some more transparency regarding mathematics and game mechanics. Also, why there isn't some guidance on making a whole-cloth units, I do not know.

Fun Fire Emblem Like.
This was a fun Fire Emblem like. Buidling a powerful army to cut through the opposing armies makes it worth playing through the game, especially if you like tinking with the different classes to ge the highest squad rating you can. The sound track is great and the controls are fine. They upgraded the character portraits, I just wished they had fixed soem clunky writing the game has. Story starts off strong but kina falls flat toward genericville towards the end. A little bit of a rewrite could have kept it going so whats going on at least makes more sense about why characters are acting like they are. Still a fun tactical game and worth a play or two.

Fun tactics game
The story is nothing to write home about but there are many units and combinations of squads that you can play with, kinda fun fiding out what works and what doesn't.
