Camera positioning and unskippable thing

Sometimes the camera positioning is not too correct, i get lost sometimes. You also can't skip speaking people or petting animals, which are "useless time" spent.

Field Technician Simulator?

The game try to be ambitious but sadly the execution isn't there. The puzzles are tedious, at one point you do wonder are you really an adventurer or an on-site technician?

Good itself, but so many problems...

First, technical problems - game won't work for me natively on windows with AMD card. No snow in menu, no Kate model, and endless loading. I'm only able to play it without problems on linux with wine. Yes, you read it right - native windows game don't work in windows, but works great on linux in wine. I see what Sokal wanted to give us, but bad developers, that can't work with unity, killed all the fun of the game. Huge FPS drops (not because of wine, on youtube i've seen the same), dissapearing mouse pointer, bad controls, abrupt sounds in dialogs and many more. It's not great. You just made from us beta testers of Syberia 3. If you had money problem, then why didn't you do the kickstarter campaign? Second - game itself. I am a huge fan of Syberia. After i've done second game, i didn't feel that Kate's story needed continuation. It was a perfect happy end. But whatever. Third game has a very good atmosphere like the previous games, has a great soundtrack that perfectly fits the game, has a solid storyline and amazing design (i'm not about graphics). All that i saw negative is that voices of actors not always fits to their game characters (like a Steiner that is a very old man but has a voice of 20 old man) and ending that is a huge disappointment for me. Or Sokal was hoping to do fourth game? I hope not. Epilogue - for those, who have not played yet and are going to buy the game - buy it, and when you play, try to ignore technical issues, because the game itself is very good

Seriously stuck in the 2000's

If you've played Syberia 1 or 2, then you've played Syberia 3....except they're much better games. Syberia 3 is stuck in the fixed camera 2.5D world of the 2000's. These type of games were okay fifteen years ago, but not in 2017. Microids should've either stuck with the original 2.5D engine, or done a proper 3D game with full camera control, zoom in/out and full support of both mouse/keyboard and controller. Also using the Unity engine didn't help. Everyone knows Unity is good for quick demos and proof-of-concepts, but not much else...and it really shows in Syberia 3. Syberia 3 looks like it came out around 2010...at best. The gameplay, dialog and puzzles are all circa mid-2000. I really, really wanted to like this game because I so much enjoyed the first two games. Fortunately I did NOT pay full price. $34.99 for this game is ridiculously high. I paid about $10 for it, and that's the maximum it's worth. Honestly $4.99 is a more realistic price. Here's why: Dated graphics; much weaker story compared to previous games; bad use of 3D; bad voice acting or voices that don't match characters; bad lip syncing with spoken words; unable to skip through conversations (first two games supported this); replaced multiple Save Anywhere slots with a single Auto-Save slot; mouse controls less intuitive and more complicated than first 2 games. If you haven't yet played Syberia 1 and 2, then get them. They're easily worth $9.99 each. But save your money and give Syberia 3 a skip.
