Sunless Skies is set in the Fallen London Universe, a deep, dark and marvellous world where hand-crafted narrative and emergent gameplay work together to create compelling stories for your character.

As captain of a locomotive spaceship, assembling and leading your crew from port to port, you’ll encounter sights humanity was never meant to see. Can you preserve your sense of self when you’re far from home and law? Will you keep your principles and sanity in the face of dangerous and lucrative opportunities in the stars? Will you survive?

Grindy and woke grammar.

I played this quite a lot and after grinding my way collecting wealth and upgrades I noticed that some of the language written in this game is taking into account non binary pronouns. The game is already a slog to read, but to try to divine who is who when the writers use the plural "they" instead of he, her or it, was just too much effort to sort out.

But now I have tried to email failbetter games both in the mail they specifically have given for claim missing kickstarter keys and their usual email for contect with customer AND even tried to login to their forum. None of this work. So I will ask failbetter to stop failing and contact me so this issue can be resolved.

Is this what HELL looks like??

This game is rather grim and requires you to make deals with devils for plot progression.. If you practice a religion - give this game a miss, you would not lose anything.

Yawn fest.

Good Gods -- wtf did i just play? -- what a terrible system - not intuitive at all --- frankly BORING (to the point I actually fell asleep at the kb!!!). I Uninstalled and have NOT looked back - don't waste your hard earned on this MESS. Negative TEN stars.
