The story is cute and the platforming is challenging. Too much so, for me, on 'normal' difficulty in the later stages. Luckily there is the 'Zen' mode that tones down the difficulty while preserving the story. So that everyone can enjoy the game, not only hardcore gamers.
Very good puzzle platformer, requiring accurate timing and control. The plot is light but enjoyable. Nice humor. The gameplay evolves nicely, and you get to explore the different gameplay elements sufficiently. The difficulty curve was somewhat uneven, though. Sometimes I felt like I was waltzing through the levels, then came upon a high-difficulty level, and then afterwards waltzing through 10-20 more. But overall it was fine. Not sure if intended, but some levels had alternative solution paths.
I also liked the extra challenge from collecting the cubes, but had to give up on completing the additional "hard levels". The first set was OK, but for the second set the difficulty skyrocketed, and at least for me it became more of a chore, rather than enjoyment.
This game may not be for everyone, but if you like puzzle platformers with a challenge, then this is your game.
I like the close contained puzzle like enviroment. I can think each puzzle before I begin to move and if I die I'm right back ready to start again, no screen change no loading. I also like the feeling of progresion in the game.
I see some people comparing this to Celeste. It may have some Celeste vibes, but this one has a steeper difficulty level. This game feels much more like a quick reflex puzzle rather than a platformer. You have to plan ahead to get through a level. There's a very limited skill set you can use, which may sound like it makes the game easier but it's not because of the clever and punishing level design. I got to say this game scratches a very specific itch so it's definitely not for everyone.
