Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones is a fantastic RPG. The story is interesting, the characters are unique, the quests are varied, and the systems run deep. There are a variety of different ways to play this game and I can't wait to jump back in and explore some new paths. This is one nightmare I highly recommend.

The Otherworldly is Here!

Would very wish for more games of this high calibre, with so much love poured into detailed worldbuilding. - Captivating story which wants you to go on - Estetically pleasing in sound, visual design, macabre realities - Easily flowing gameplay thanks to UI - Nice turn based combat system - Captures the spirits of the Lovecraftian stories it references, builds up on it and lets you experience the bizzare otherworldly incomprehensiveness governing the games reality I havent had the bugs that are being referenced in other revievs. Seems like it was fixed in a big patch in the end of 2019.

Would not crave for a sequel...

Sadly, I thought this game would be more like how Lovecraft reads rather than how Arkham Horror board game plays. Thankfully it's short, otherwise I would have been tempted not to finish it. I was initially drawn in because of the art style, if you are a die hard fan of the setting then check it out. Otherwise, investigate before you commit.

It gives a major puzzle but end abruptly half way. Also got quest that leads to infinite human enemies to force bad end route....
