Looks fun...but how do you even play it?
Impossible game to understand w/out tutorial. You are tossed into this game without any real direction. The first level is against some saracen general. But how you build structures is not immediately apparent. In addition, how do you strike a balance between recruiting people and taxing? The first level moves too fast to give you a moment to learn. I'm sure it's some precursor to tower defense, but I'll never know unless I go on youtube and look up how to play it (which defeats the purpose of buying a game such as this).

I downloaded Stronghold Crusader HD and Classic onto my Macbook Air and neither of these games will open at all.

Looks like a good game...
It looks like a great game but I can't play it because it doesn't appear to work on Windows 10 Build 17003. I thought the point of GOG and Steam is to keep these games playable on modern operating systems?

The best Game i have ever played
This is the best strategic game i have ever played. i got the demo in 2002 from PC mag. and i have loved it... its so real and so perfect.... i will request a remake of this coz its really Swett.. thank you firefly studios.. i love you .....
