Stellaris: Biogenesis

I'm getting really tired of Paradox. Yet again a cash grab full of bugs - but this time it is absolutely unplayable - and like always they will fix 35% and leave the rest before moving on to another DLC. There are so many older issues (years old!) needing a fix that this is getting ridiculous. This is the first time ever I'm asking for a refund. Do yourself a favor and avoid losing time on this current version... or, like me, "vote with your money" and tell them to get their act together before asking for another buck. Enough is enough.

Basically a Beta

While the new ideas are ok the execution absolutely isn't. Don't buy this until maybe 2-3 years down the line when you can get it for 2-3€ in a sale. Maybe until then they have fixed the bugs. Where do I even start: - Permanently blinking notifications on map (even after dismissal) - New pop system with 0 explainers - Unempoyment doesn't work anymore. - Resettlement doesn't show unemployment. - New buildings with old artwork - upkeep bugs - and many many many more.

Agree w/ others, this is criminal.

They need to get their act together, this DLC is a huge slap in the face.. morally bankrupt greedy corporation needs to learn a lesson.

DLC Itself - One of the Best. 4.0 Bugsss

DLC itself is one of the best so far, up there with Machine Age. Looking forward to the Psionic Expansion, hoping its on the same levels as the New Biological Ascension paths. 4.0 However is more bugs than patch, and definitely needs work. New Pop System I can see what they're going for, but unfortunately it does not work as it should. Elite Pops grow too quickly and outpace the available jobs, and everybody immediately rushes to specialist jobs and leaves the worker jobs empty which is a major problem for resource production. If the DLC could be reviewed without the stain of 4.0, easy 5 stars. But 4.0 needs more work done. Also disappointing to see Paradox start to go down the Gen-AI Path, as the Art of Stellaris has been one of its strongest aspects and I sincerely hope they don't abandon that for easy to spot AI Drivel.
