A beautiful sequel
I played Steamworld heist one through several times, and always enjoyed it. This one improves on every aspect of the game, and it's exactly what i wanted in a sequel. Bonus: Steam Powered Giraffe with a new album as the soundtrack matches perfectly.

A damn fun time
Firstly, the game is just stunning. The lighting is beautiful and the characters all have fun and varied designs (as goes within the Steamworld franchise). The plot and characters are intriguing and fun as wel. The combat is similar to the first, but with few qol tweaks and overall improvements. Though the new Job system isn't as great as it could be. The naval combat is fun is short bursts, but not anything too deep. The movement of the ship isn't bad per say, but it gets way better after getting the boost, making both the combat and movement way more fluid. (hehehe, fluid, like water.)
