Stasis has a lot of issues, the biggest ones being horrendous voice acting and a cliche main plot. It's biggest strength is presentation. The pre-rendered backgrounds are beautifully made, while the music and overall soundscape improve the atmosphere even further. This game is very cheap on sale, definitely pick it up if you like point and click adventures.
This is reminiscent of the point-and-click games of the 90s, but with more modern graphics and pitch perfect setting and atmosphere for a space-horror story.
I am playing this after playing Stasis: Bone Totem, but I'm enjoying it. The story is interesting, I like the puzzles even though at times they seem to be a little on the tougher side - or like the one I just did that I completely guessed on - but they're good. It's the old fashioned point-and-click of the horror genre that's worth playing.
This is a bleak, almost miserable, but story-rich game that everyone should play at some point. I can't recommend it enough for the story, world-building, and the unraveling plot. Give it a shot!
