WOW
I enjoyed the puzzles but not the theme. It was too gory! The dialect was difficult to read. The PDA units contained too much garbage.

A visceral experience
I didn't know what this game will store for me...(I consider myself a sci-fi/horror fan and I've seen some really good games and movies). Yet Stasis managed to surprise me, even shock me at times. The story narrative is very good. This enormous space station gave me a foreboding feeling as it revealed more and more of its horrors to me. The game graphics might be a bit outdated, but the visual style is impressive and sets the mood. The controls are very simplistic (literally point and click), I guess this was intentional. The general sound effects are perfect, haunting, working especially at night. I've played it on an i7-9700K, Win10 based system, ultrawide display (2 black bars were visible as it does support widescreen but not ultrawide) with no errors or bugs whatsoever. To sum up: Definitely recommend to all horror/Sci-Fi/Adventure fans.

An engrossing point and click adventure
It's not easy to to make a horror point and click adventure game, but Stasis pulls it off admirably. Instead of relying on jump scares and grotesque imagery, which the game has in moderation, the horror comes more from the fear of unknown and the darkness of man. This is also where the game falls apart a bit toward the end. Once you learn what happened and the depth of depravity of the bad people, much of the horror is gone. You end up with a generic inventory based point and click adventure game with a sparse and mediocre main plot. Before then, Stasis is an engrossing experience. You explore a dilapidated science ship the size of a small city called Groomlake, slowly uncovering not just more of the ship and its horrors but also more of the ship's history, as though going back in time. It's a remarkable bit of world building. You learn about the ship and its history mainly through text logs of crew members. These are surprisingly varied and well written, giving small glimpses of what feel like real people. Occasional set pieces and radio conversations break the pace of reading to make the game feel more dynamic. Environmental story telling rounds out the narrative structure. Although the environment feels interesting overall, some of the details are not fleshed out enough to make sense when examined closely. Overall, though, I was constantly motivated to explore and learn more about Groomlake and its former denizens. Knowing its strength, the game doesn't bog down the exploration with gameplay. The control is minimalist with a contextual cursor and an inventory. Most puzzles are logical inventory puzzles. A few are obtuse due to unexpected interactions with the game world. Nothing that's "What the hell?" I read a guide at a couple spots, and it did not take away from my experience. Stasis is a short game, lasting several hours depending on how fast you read text and solve the puzzles. However, little of that time is wasted. P.S. Double click makes you run.

Great dark sci-fi adventure!
Absolutely wonderful retro-styled point and click adventure game! The mood is reminiscent of Event Horizon or Dead Space, but the creators are weaving their own story even though they use the familiar 'tried and tested' tropes. Play style and feel might remind you of Sanitarium (if you played the game, if not then visit its GOG page immediately) and other classic 90s isometric adventures. It takes the best and delivers a solid story and decent puzzles, which are logical, and should allow any fan of the genre to progress through the game. This is the sort of adventure gaming that big studios should go for, dark unrelenting story, catering to the player, rather than purely oriented on generating income. Saying that - the game has a few little oddities, but the studio is quick to fix any bugs and/or odd behaviour, and considering it is designed and produced by two brothers, I say big kudos to them and keep up the good work!!!

Competent, but gets lazy towards the end
Generally a decent game, reminds me a lot of Sanitarium. But towards the end, the world building falls apart, and the writing, gameplay, and puzzles all become quite poor and lazy.
