Horrible PC version

The actual game is good, but this version... I really think you'd be better off emulating the game, either on Dolphin or RPCS3, there are different versions with this game but this PC version is... bad to say the least. In every session I had with this I encountered issues, stuff like, clipping through the enviroment, getting stuck, without the ability to restart the last checkpoint, fps locked at 30fps (you unlock it, it breaks the game even further) in the main menu you have to use the brackets in your keyboard to navigate through certain options, there's no option to rebind this. There's a loading screen for going in and out of options, there's a launcher with only a toggle for "high detail" no more graphic settings, so you're stuck with the ones set by the developer, at least you can change the resolution but... the cloth physics are broken here, you have to edit a .ini file to get them to work, and the list goes on, and on, and on... I didn't experienced crashes, but there's tons of folk that have as you can probably read in other reviews. So, yeah... nice game, terrible PC version, such a shame how many games are like that, or were like that too...

One cann't just port from console to PC

Good graphics, good story plot. Terrible controls. I've tried both keyboard+mouse and controller with same result actually. With mouse you control camera (this one critical) but have poor movement and force usage experience; with controller - good force expirience but poor control over camera. Both sides ruin enjoyment. Just for comparisson: Sudeki (first came out for console) have controls adopted for PC and game is AWESOME (replayed it lot of times each time I've install it).

So Much Potential

Surprising good story and fun combat... most of the time. Controls are delayed even in a best case scenario, and targeting is extraordinarily difficult. Enemies, even mooks, also make a habit of stunlocking you, and the time Starkiller takes to stand up again is frustratingly long. All this is made ten times worse in boss battles, which changes the camera perspective on you to a distant zoom that makes it nigh impossible to see clearly what you're doing and messes with your ability to move. The Star Destroyer destruction segment, which should be amazing, bogged down my computer to a crawl (so I died a lot), it's long and repetitive, and the directions are clear as mud. It was enough to make me quit the game. Sadly, I cannot recommend this game.

To ambitious for its time

The euphoria and DMM physics were a great idea put the tech wasn`t there on Consoles. The Gameplay is very unprecise and can get frustrating quick. The story is cool This is a BAD Pc port!

This Should've Aged Better

This game is a hack n' slash with a Star Wars skin and a colour palate circa 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire". I was extremely hesitant on making this purchase based on the more reviews about this game being a bad port. And, they are not wrong this is a laughably BAD port. I played this game on the PSP and PS3 and do not remember the game being this janky. Likewise, the keyboard controls are painfully bad; but SWFU plays decently with a controller. The story snuggles in fairly well with old cannon, it's fun, and best of all it is light on the SocJus agitprop. With a little love, this game could be most excellent. SWFU on sale and with a little forgiveness, isn't half bad. Ball Park Burger/10
