Probably the best GOG Singleplayer FPS
If You like the Star Wars Genre, so this is your game. Nice first person shooter action mixed with tactical descisions. OK the Story probably is a little bit lame. But Back then, story wasnt a big deal in FPS games. So this Game IS a big deal for everyone who likes FPS. Maybe some kind of different if u look at new games. But its fun.

Republic Commando
The best of its kind, neither too complicated nor too simple, the interaction with the equipment is great with just 4 basic instructions, I was always waiting for RC II

A Great Tactical Star Wars FPS
I do have to take a star off this game due to a lack of controller support for this title, but it is still great if you're looking for a fun single-player tactical FPS, similar to games like Swat, Rainbow Six, or the Modern Warfare games.

Great FPS Gameplay
I own Battlefront 2, the new Battlefront, and lots of other star wars games......and this one is AWESOME!! Great team gameplay, fun weapons, and low requirements make this my new favorite FPS game. I would recommend this if you love fps games.

An outstanding game
I first heard about this game from a friend that was having a hard time playing it, he said back then that some mobs were just too hard to beat, I was intrigued when he said that and I thought that this might be a challenge and so after a while I got the game and I started playing it. All was fine and chill until I started fighting the Droideka and Super Battle Droids which the ignorant Jedi in me thought of them as easy prey, but little did I know what was about to happen and how hard they would bring me back into the reality of looking at them through the eyes of a clone and not an all powerful Jedi Knight and for the first time I felt that the Star Wars universe could be so much more than a bunch of Jedis and Sith lords killing each other and everything that stood in their path, I felt how an intergalactic war would feel from the perspective an elite soldier sent on an infiltration mission and fighting against all odds. What I love about this game is that the droids hit hard and even harder if you play the game on the hardest difficulty which makes the game so challenging and it's awesome. I love how you're the commander of your squad and you give the others orders and they do them, I love how you can put one of your men to hack a door while you and the other two are holding your ground as he does that and feeling the pressure as he takes too long and you start sweating since there are too many droids for you to have chances of victory, I love the little dialogues between the squad members from time to time, I love the story and it's simplicity. The gameplay is cool, if you're fighting a Super Battle Droid you have to use EMP grenades, same goes for Droideka or they will stomp you, if you underestimate the normal droids they will overrun your position and flank you. This game for me was an incredible experience after five gameplays (four of them being on hard, because it makes the game hard and more enjoyable when you succeed) and three books. I highly recommend the books, Karen Traviss has done an excellent job with them and even though only 4 out of 5 books were released, you can read the first three books which revolve around the Republic Commando (Hard Contact, Triple Zero and True Colors), there were supposed to be two more based on the Imperial Commando (you'll understand if you read the books) but only one was released. Overall I give this game 5 out of 5 stars and I recommend at least one gameplay, if you're a Star Wars fan you'll love it.
