STAR WARS™ Republic Commando

I played this many yeats ago. But this version keeps crashing, and I can't play it.

It was origionally made for 4:3, so you will need to mod three things. you need to make it fit your screen (16:9 or 21:9), change the FOV(field of view), which will both stretch the HUD, so you will finally have to find a mod for the HUD. All of which can be found by internet search. After that it was great. It is a FPS where you aslo control a squad. Controling the squad was simple and added a twist that made this game different and enjoyable in a crowded genre. I would have given it 5 stars, but this title required a little more work than usual to make it playable. The only question is if you are willing to put in the time to make it playable on a modern monitor.

Still works pretty well thanks to mods, I just wish it was longer and/or had a sequel.

Great game, great soundtrack. You can tell that a lot of love and passion for the setting and series was put into it. Lots of little details from the breach animations and so forth. That said the game is dated, so obviously if you can't live without modern graphics than its not for you. The game can crash rarely, it happened to me once but there are a decent amount of savepoints + manual saves so its not a big deal unlike other older games a true gog

A game made with love. It is easier than i remember. Have a bug on Geonesis where the shield wont shut down. Wont replay that today.
