Good RTS if you like Starcraft or AoE
Solid showing of an old school RTS with enough challenge and variety to keep you interested through all campaigns and the bonus levels. Would recommend if you like classic RTS games like Age of Empires, Starcraft, Warcraft, Warhammer, etc., and are a Star Wars fan.

Bugged gameplay
game is bugged, always scrolls northwest. I tried changing configurations, but so far no luck. Game works in the background, can select units, but can't move.

Solid Star Wars RTS especially with mods
This game is basically a reskin of Age of Empires II and very blatantly so, but that means it has many of the strengths of that game. Like Age of Empires II, you play a number of factions that share units and are basically palette swaps of each other, with different technologies and one to a few unique units per faction to differentiate the factions. Nevertheless, the factions here play more uniquely than Age of Empires II, because there are only 8 of them. And the factional choice is very interesting, you get to use the Wookiees and the Gungans for example, not necessarily the most obvious choices but great for something different in the Star Wars galaxy. HOWEVER, what truly makes this game shine and in my view a worthy purchase, is the fantastic mods available. I would like to call out Expanding Fronts in particular, an ambitious fan-made mod that basically acts as a huge DLC, adding new factions, a ton of maps, and lots and lots of assets. It also modernises the game for modern PCs, fixes many of the bugs and lets you play at 60FPS. And the development team continues to work on new features, assets and balance fixes regularly. Since installing Expanding Fronts, there simply isn't any going back to the base game. The game with Expanding Fronts installed is an absolute steal at its asking price, IMO.

A Classic To Remain...
This game is absolutely, totally amazing! It may be a Star Wars version of Age of Empires 2, but who cares? It is totally worth the asking price of $5.99. There are eight campaigns, each one holding around six missions. This game is what Star Wars is all about. It comes with the Clone Campaigns expansion pack as well. However, to play any multilayer, you will need to download a third-party app such as Game Ranger. Personally, Game Ranger is my favorite as it is very easy to use. The most fun part of the game is playing with friends against many AIs, this can be challenging my friends, trust me. This game is worth every penny and will run on any machine, and play multilayer on the crappiest of networks. So go ahead, buy the thing already!
