With space combat, playable Jedi characters, and over 16 all new battlefronts, Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II gives you more ways than ever before to play the classic Star Wars™ battles any way you want.
Enhanced Single-Player Experience - Join the rise of Darth Vader’s elite 501st Legion of Stormtroopers as you fight through a story-based saga where every action you take impacts the battlefront and, ultimately, the fate of the Star Wars galaxy.
All New Classic Trilogy Locations - Fight inside the corridors of the second Death Star, in the marshy swamps of Dagobah, and even aboard the Tantive IV, Princess Leia’s Blockade Runner, as seen at the beginning of Star Wars™ Episode IV: A New Hope.
More Classes and Vehicles - Now choose from six distinct soldier classes, plus bonus hero characters for each of the four factions: Rebels, Imperials, CIS and the Republic. Then jump into more than 30 diverse ground and space vehicles, including the clone BARC speeder, AT-RT and new Jedi Starfighter and ARC 170.
PLUS Improved Online Features - Engage in massive online battles with multiplayer action for up to 64 players. Play five different online game modes including Conquest, Assault, one-and two-flag Capture the Flag, and Hunt.
Fight as a Jedi - Earn the ability to wield a Lightsaber™ and use Force™ powers like Yoda, Darth Vader and many other heroes and villains.
Battle in Space - Dogfight in X-wings, TIE fighters, Jedi starfighters and other classic starcraft, or land your ship on a Star Destroyer and fight it out on foot aboard enemy ships.

A game for OG Xbox Doesn't work with an xbox controller and only has keybroad inputs
Literaly my only reason installing GOG was cause i got a code for this shit, never useing it again
Second game in a row from GOG that simply will not load. I've spent ages applying patches, trying different machines and settings. What an absolute waste of time and money, I shouldn't have to go to this much trouble. BE WARNED!! If you waste your money on this having read what I've said then that's on you.
Surely GOG can apply SOME level of quality control and check compatibility. I meet all of the requirements they list but for some reason, yet again, this wont work. Even at £1.99 on sale this was a waste.
I'm not buying anything else from GOG, there's no support, they're just 'middle men'.
I used to love this game when was released, but now the gameplay is really outdated, online works well but dont expect do have fun since the gameplay looks like a speedup parody, is hard to say but the new battlefronts are much better (they sont have lootbox as people says).
You know what's worse than a horrible game? A good game that suddenly turns horrible.
First, I haven't played MP. I'm sure it's fun for those who are into it, but I'm not.
Instead I've played the "campaign", which are basically bot fights with story objectives and with cinematics between them - which may not seem like much, but actually does provide a good feeling of story progression. It's like playing The Clone Wars TV show plus it actually feels fresh compared to all those super-linear, dumbed down shooters of today. SWB2 gameplay is more like Doom, except more crazy, with AI players on your side and cool sci-fi vehicles.
So all is good until you get to level 7, where order 66 is given and you fight the Jedi. The 2nd objective is to PROTECT BOOK SHELVES from being destroyed by the Jedi. Yes, those Jedi who can tear a tank apart, and here there's 20 of them, and they respawn, and you are supposed to stop them from destroying books. Sounds impossible? Exactly. After 20 or so retries, I'm done. How could this objective get into a game that's absolutely unsuited for it, is beyond me. I mean bots are okay but they simply don't have the intelligence to protect books, which means it's up to you to fight off waves of Jedi who can kill you in one melee hit, while you desperately wait for your weapon to slooooooooooooooooooowly recharge.
Yea I'm done. The first missions were almost for 5 stars, but as it is, SP is a broken game that cannot be finished.
