- Enhanced Single-Player Experience - Join the rise of Darth Vader’s elite 501st Legion of Stormtroopers as you fight through a story-based saga where every action you take impacts the battlefront and, ultimately, the fate of the Star Wars galaxy.
- All New Classic Trilogy Locations - Fight inside the corridors of the second Death Star, in the marshy swamps of Dagobah, and even aboard the Tantive IV, Princess Leia’s Blockade Runner, as seen at the beginning of Star Wars™ Episode IV: A New Hope.
- More Classes and Vehicles - Now choose from six distinct soldier classes, plus bonus hero characters for each of the four factions: Rebels, Imperials, CIS and the Republic. Then jump into more than 30 diverse ground and space vehicles, including the clone BARC speeder, AT-RT and new Jedi Starfighter and ARC 170.
- PLUS Improved Online Features - Engage in massive online battles with multiplayer action for up to 64 players. Play five different online game modes including Conquest, Assault, one-and two-flag Capture the Flag, and Hunt.

Just like the simulations
Campaign is fun, galactic conquest is a neat game mode, and the all-hero battles are a blast. Really competent star wars shooter. Only downside is the AI feels a little clunky, especially when viewed from long distances they can be seen just standing around. Watch those wrist rockets.

Classic shooter!
A lot of my 5 stars comes from nostaligia, the game can be quite repetatitve, but it's some old-school original mulit-player shooter madness and a lot of fun. Plus, Star Wars. From a fun era!

Great Idea, Poor Execution
Not sure how this passed final release as there is a frustrating amount of terrible design decisions made in this game. The objectives are vague, and do not remain on screen or are available anywhere to review and you simply are stuck following arrows pointing in random places leaving you to figure out what the heck you are supposed to be doing. Get this thing and then go here. OK. Capture this, and hold. Oh, wait; no reinforcements show up. Deliver this thing to where this random arrow is pointing. Oh, that happens to be on a completely different ship. I cannot count the number of times I was lost running around trying to figure out what the whole point even was. After about a half dozen missions, that was it for me. Maybe this was better on initial release with thousands of other people playing, but doing it now, solo, with random NPCs running amock everywhere requires more patience than I have.

A classic game that's still fun
I've owned and played this game since launch and still love playing it despite its age. It's a legit classic.
