When i try to start the game, it just shows the splash screen und then it disapears/crashes.
Tryed everthing, reinstall, Comp. mode, diffent drive. its just not working.

Durning the installation browse to where you star trek armada 1 is install mine is installed in C:\GOG Games\Star Trek Armada one you have done that continue the installation and then run them game and go to options and change resolution to the one of your monitor and then your done load any mission or what not and have fun i have this installed with the Millenium Project Project and it works fine witch can be found hear http://armadafiles.com/files/armada/mods/total-conversions/millenium-project-19-se/details same method as with the patch
I played the tar out of this game years ago on Windows 98 and it always was buggy. One of the biggest being a memory bug that would cause it to crash after a couple of hours usually. My suggestion to you if you play to play a long game or a complex one(or both), save... and save often, as that bug still exists to some level.
One other thing that still annoys me is the tiny number of save game slots it still has.
With all this said however, I play this game still for hours and hours, sometimes the same scenarios over and over again. I find it fun and sometimes frustrating but more fun than frustrating.
