- Board derelict vessels and repair them to add to your fleet.
- Build Starbases to harvest resources and construct your Armada.
- Bombard your enemies with long-range weaponry.
- Destroy your enemy with phasers, photon torpedoes and over 30 special weapons.
- Elude your enemy by using one of the five kinds of nebulas to conceal your forces.
- Reinforce your Armada using wormholes to traverse vast distances in mere seconds.

Armada 1 works
Installed the game and it worked. The animation of the menus are missing, but everything works and finishe the game.

Not quite there
I really enjoyed this game back in the day, but this port doesn't quite hold up due to the many glitches, including: - Game crashes abruptly without warning during missions. - Game crashes after a few repeats of tabbing out/going to menu and resuming game. - Finicky UI at points, such as setting up a multiplayer game. E.g. drop-down menus will close before selections are made from the menu. - Game will not recognize victory conditions at times. My save on level 16 is stuck with no enemy units left on the map. Forced to use level skip code to cheat past this bug. I'm not sure if it was the version of the game they tried to port, but I do know that I wasn't this frustrated the first time around. I do enjoy getting to play this game again, but the experience is definitely diminished.

Star Trek Armada
I am not a big gamer. However, I loved this game and played for hours and hours, days and days. Is there a New Game that is Multi-Player and Compareable to this Game? I like Space and Controlling Ships. Any advice on a new game I might Like? I do not like 1st person shooter games.....Jim
