- True Progression – every piece of gear must be earned. Travel deeper into the Zone to unlock better weapons, armor, and tools, but be prepared for the deadliest threats it has to offer.
- Overhauled Economy & Looting – no more buy-sell comfort loops. GAMMA removes easy trading and randomized stash rewards, forcing you to scavenge, craft, and survive through intent, not convenience.
- Body Part Damage & Medical System – injuries now target specific limbs. Managing bleeding, pain, infection, and exposure requires medical planning and a full survival kit; bandages alone won’t save you.
- Artifact Progression – artifacts must be carefully empowered and combined. Instead of instant benefits, they offer meaningful long-term progression.
- Custom UI & Visuals – enhanced menus, immersive shaders, redesigned HUD elements, and improved performance ensure every moment in the Zone looks and feels intense.

The best STALKER Sandbox Experience
I've been playing this mod for about a year after having come over from the Anomaly mod, and it's truly deserving of the hype. If the Original Stalker games are normal, then Anomaly is hard mode and GAMMA is Ranger-Hardcore. The challenge is real but not unfair, actively being updated to keep providing the best experiance, is something that can provide a unique experiance to each player, and provides the best Sandbox/Roleplay experiance in STALKER mods. Absolutely worth at least trying, and even then worth trying a few times if it doesnt quite catch you. I'd had to come back to it 3 times from playing Anomaly before something just clicked and I got hooked on GAMMA.

One of the best gaming experiences!
I play this Mod for over 2 years now and I can truly say this is one of the best gaming experiences I ever had and all that for no money. With the graphical updates it looks like a 4A title and it creates one of the most immersive gaming experiences you can find. The Stalker community kept the Stalker alive over the years and this is THE BEST way of experiencing the feeling I had while playing the original trilogy. You feel the heartblood and sweat from the modders in every aspekt of the game and GROK combined all the mods in an easy to update way. With this game you get 100s of hours of pure "oldschool" Stalker experience.
