Shouldn't have bothered
The game itself is great. The remaster doesn't do anything to help. They should not have bothered. Buy the original. You will get both of them anyway, because you get the remaster for free if you own the original one. Play the original. It really is a great game.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat
Entertaining for some hours until the game's crude mechanics, economy, and story finally catch up with it and you realize you could be playing a Far Cry or Elder Scrolls title instead. Not much to look at, either. Only buy on sale.

Nice feels and looks better.
Albeit the glaring over done recoil is still there but, not a problem. game runs MAXED @ 1440p 60HZ, on my intel 13600K, 32GB RAM, a (Dell Micron Single fan factory under clocked POS ok it was free.) GTX1660 SUPER Video Card, ASUS PRIME B760M-A D4 MOBO, Huge 250 TDP Dual Fan Heatsink. open air Frame case. How could a person Who owns the OG Version ask for more? You can't and you shouldn't its free to those of us who owns the old game. I say Bravo Well Done.

For me a 10 / 10, at the moment, everyone (at least on steam) is complaining about the image blur and rating it negatively for this reason, among others, and yes, that's true, but you can counteract this well if you deactivate the internal AA (MLAA / FXAA), use FSR 3 in native mode instead and then screw the FSR sharpness to 100%, which is an unusually high value (compared to other games with FSR), but the image is okay with it, even if not perfect. However, the implementation of the image quality is indeed in need of improvement. This text applies to all 3 games, so i hope it's okay if i use it for all of them. Perhaps the many negative reviews will also have a positive effect, namely that the developers will make improvements, if possible.
