Great game with minor flaws

I liked the story very much - the voice actors did a very good job and the atmosphere was always great. The gameplay is solid - the campaign is more of a RPG then a RTS. The maps are beautiful and bear great details - but the unnecessary backtracking and permitted fast travel for some instances are a bummer. And there are still a lot of false audio tracks played, wrong text lines, not translated text lines and item descriptions and so on. All in all I loved the 50 hours I needed to complete the campaign!

Very good game.

I like the game very much,for me it is similar to dragon age origins in sense of gameplay, you have a party, a base, leveling heroes, obtaining artefacts, plus rts thing.Again very good game for me.

Unbalanced and confused mix

The idea of mixing warcraft like RTS and BG like RPG was not bad. But it needs a great balance between the two genres to work well. Here there is no balance at all. In the RTS parts the heroes become irrelevant. But even the strategical-tactical part is poorly developed: the rating at which the enemies send you hordes of soldiers is frustrating, and you have the impression that you have been thrown in the middle of something without adequate preparation, giving you no time to think. But still, is the RPG part fun? No. The poorness of the skill trees, and the squishiness of your tanks is astounding. It becomes soon frustrating, even when there is no clear difficulty. Maybe it could have been a good game if only the devs dedicated some more time to testing?

Great Spellforce

Really great mix of RPG and RTS. I love the economy, love to capture territories and manage worker. RTS part well done. good mix of unit, but i would love more unique unit. and more race. RPG part is OK. i love to walk around with my heroes and kill monster then bring back loot to a merchant sell most of my stuff. love to explore the map and discover little thing that add to the immersion like a destroyed house or burned corpse... Visualy awesome for an RTS. cant think of a better one map wise. love the voice acting, bring depth to the story which i love. So far i really love this game and hope they will release a expansion with more race.

We've earned ourselves some rest.

Great game, full of upgrades and different paths to take. The difficulty is immense, ranging from passive to full on guerilla warfare, The story is very long, takes about 30-40 hours to finish but it is worth it. There are so many heroes you can recruit and use and adapt to your playstyle. Beware the catapults. P.S. The Titans should have some cooldown.
