Average at best... / Moyen au mieux...

... For a fan. I consider this one and Demons of the Past to be the worst of the series, even if both had a few nice moments. There was no gameplay changes from Shadow Wars and Dragon Storm, and every other aspect is weaker in my opinion. Only for fans of the other games of the series, buy it on sale. I did not encounter the same glitches as the other reviewer. The DLCs (additional scenarios and OST) for this one are probably the parts that I enjoyed the most out of the game. ... Pour les fans. Je pense que Faith in Destiny et Demons of the Past sont les pires jeux de la série, même s'ils contiennent quelques moments sympa. Aucun changement de mécaniques par rapport à Shadow Wars et Dragon Storm, le jeu est inférieur sur la majorité des autres aspects. A réserver aux fans de la série, à acheter en soldes. Je n'ai pas subi les mêmes soucis/bugs que l'autre reviewer. Les DLCs (BO et scénarios bonus) sont probablement les contenus que j'ai le plus apprécié pour ce jeu.

A Clunky Mess

With glitches that can bring the game to a mess of stutters or that can stop your units from being responsive entirely, I cannot - in good faith - recommend this iteration of Spellforce 2; with unimpressive art assets along with a very mediocre core RTS with a disappointing RPG mechanic shoved in inadequately, Spellforce 2 remains to be for those who actually follow the lore and story of the game. Otherwise, it's just the typical fantasy setting with nothing surprising nor notable in a market that has better alternatives for RTS RPG hybrids.

Not great but still fun

It has what you would expect – skill tree, equipment, base building, multiple factions, quests. It looks fine, the music is great and I did not encounter any bugs worth talking about. It just needs more work. There is enough skill points to go down two or three branches, but the abilities are quite similar to each other. They mostly just deal damage or prevent damage and all heroes have the same three skill trees. The individual factions are also very similar, they truly differ only in some of their units.
