not great
I own this game back then when we still know Floppy disk (5.25 inch, everyone?). the game beside made by Origin (creator of Ultima series), despite the theme, is kinda bland in recent style and plot. No ship change (even the main weapon except for missiles), few upgrades and then, little to do to make a story (very linear one). Still, for early space sims, kinda decent. Unless you want a nostalgia, stay from this one.

Booooring
I never played this when it came out, I was too enamoured with Starflight 2, SSI's Star Command, Sentinel Worlds Volume 1: Future Magic and others. I actually just played this for the first time recently and, while I found it competent, I also found it super dull. The games mentioned above were also fairly open spacey RPG affairs, but in those games, I always felt like I had a purpose. A reason for being in that universe. Not so here, as I felt this game just...didn't have whatever it was that made me feel like I wanted to spend time there. As a Space Game Junkie, I can't really recommend this unless you have to own all the space games, like I do. ;)

Pricey for quite old titles
What's with this price? You have nearly a 30 year old game priced like this? This is a pattern that GOG has developed. Nostalgia is one thing but not enough to spend the amount of money they're asking.
