Many missteps

There's a significant problem with the hitboxes and how tight the controls are. It's incredibly important for a metroidvania to get it right. In Souno's Curse it's not the case, unfortunately. Not to mention the combat is pretty annoying. The roll and its invuln frames don't work all that well, too. Game has no map nor healing method but devs promised improvement based on early feedback, so hopefully those will be added in.

Fun Metriodvenia

Cute Artstyle and the exploration was fun. The combat system is overshadowed by a delayed dodge and invul frames. The last boss was much easier than any other boss, that was somewhat a disappointment.

Not for PC

The controls and keyhints are not for keyboard and mouse, totally unable to call the menu. the UI is also sketchy, with white pixels arounded the border, the intro animation is pixelated too. A web h5 platform game could better than this. I expected too much from its introduction and screenshots.
