Sleepytime Village is a creepy AF classic-style point & click adventure game about learning to rediscover both your inner child and the joy of creativity.

 

Inspired by games like Monkey Island and Broken Sword. you’ll take the role of a neglectful, workaholic father as he wakes in a mysterious children’s storybook village in search of a way out, whilst being haunted by its residents, its formless narrator and visions of his childhood.

 

What is this place, what does it want from him, and how can he escape?

    Explore a twisted children’s storybook reality filled with strange toys, eerie laughter, and things that definitely shouldn’t talk.
  • A story about choices, consequences, and redemption 
    Play as Rufus, a neglectful father trapped inside the pages of Sleepytime Village, haunted by his past and guided by a mysterious narrator who may not be what they seem.
  • Spooky, not gory 
    Unsettling, atmospheric, and emotional — but no deaths, jump scares, or cheap tricks. Think In The Night Garden meets Life on Mars.
  • Classic point & click puzzles 
    Solve dozens of inventive and interconnected puzzles using more than 100 collectible objects, clues, and secrets scattered throughout the village.
  • Over 70 hand-drawn playable scenes 
    Explore colourful yet haunting places: the toy cemetery, underground catacombs, the village square, the sun and moon’s domains, and many more.
  • Meet the residents of Sleepytime Village 
    From melancholy toys to sentient furniture and unnerving creatures — help (or hinder) their strange requests to uncover the truth.
  • An original storybook art style 
    Characters designed from real drawings by writer Steven Horry’s young daughter, re-imagined by Ukrainian artist Yulia Lapko and animated by James Lightfoot.

    Balance absurd humour with psychological depth as you piece together Rufus’s fragmented memories and decide what lessons he learns.
