This game is just... too much
The last SimCity i played was SC2000, so this game now has to compete with my SC2000 experience. And with that SC4 just can´t compete. You just have to manage too much stuff, i just want to build a town, i don´t want to have to change how much money every school and every hospital gets. But if you want your town to succeed, you need to do these things. Another thing i dislike is the region system. In SC2000 i was able to start a town, use a random generated map and start playing. In SC4 i can´t even generate random maps anymore. Why? Sure, this game may be nice for modder, but i just want to play. I neither have the time nor the energy to invest hours into understanding every little micromanagement issue with this game. So to summarize: If you have enough time to invest and if you want to do micromanagement, then go ahead, buy this game. But if you are like me, just wanting to fire the game up and build a town for fun, then you are probably wrong here. In this case, play SC2000 instead, at least that is what i did. (Even though the version on here is the inferior DOS version, even this version of SC2000 is more fun to me than SC4...)
