Plays like a charm :)
I'm actually playing this via Wine on my Linux machine and it is a real beauty. Back in the days I owned Silent Hill 1 and 2 for my Ps1 and Ps2 but for some reason never got around to play 3 or 4. Now at least I have the chance to enjoy 4 and it is totally worth it. Konami, if by chance you are listening...please port the missing parts of Teams Silents old classics :)

Silent Hill 1,2,3
The positive reception from this game being rereleased on GOG should konami a hint that people still want to play and cherish these old games. I'm super excited that silent hill 4 is finally available again to play. Especially with a well made port. I really really hope that one day Silent Hill 1,2, and 3 all make it here because I would buy them day one.

Amazing game and great port
While tons of fans prefer the past installments that doesn't mean the fourth one should be ignored. This game is great and offers a good story to round off any questions related to the original 3 Silent Hill games. As for performance, the game runs nicely and I had no problems. The only thing I could criticize the game for is the removal of the "dreamy" white tint and the removal of some hauntings that the PS2 version had but those aren't a big deal. It'd be nice if they got patched in as a setting (or even as a New Fear reward in the settings). Hopefully Konami re-releases the other games on readily available platforms as they are great games and are definietly needing of some re-releases (even if they are pretty easy to get working on a PC).

This game is massively underrated, and Konami should also release Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 on this platform
