An underrated Silent Hill

I played this game on a friend's PS2. It was the last original SH game I had yet to complete, and honestly, it's the scariest of the four. It's dry, raw, and desolate. Silent Hill 1, at least, takes you by the hand with its soundtrack and mechanics, but in this one, you feel even more alone, and the soundtrack is sad and melancholic. They should give it the credit it deserves. It's not revolutionary like the first one, it doesn't have an exciting story like the second one, and it's not as fun as the third one. Silent Hill 4 is sad and hopeless. in the most perfect sense of the word...

I love Silent Hill 4 The Room

First run on GOG version and got 9 stars! My only complaint is that the controls act jank once in a while so you have to stop moving and then move. Hopefully that gets fixed soon and the dodge was acting weird during the final fight too. But this is still very playable in the end and cheap too.

Worse then 3 but still a fun experience

feels like a step back from 3 in every department, from movement, inventory managment, story, horror, e.t.c. Still a good experience
