Classic, but...
Well, a classic. But re-playing it thanks to GOG after humpteen years shows how the series has progressed since civ3 - happily away from the stack of dead / doom / boredom.

My first and also still my favorite Civ
For me it is still the best Civ game to this day. Now also with the 2 expansions packs its even better.

graphics are screwed
graphics do not work on modern gpus. does not seem to be able to handle anything past 640. good game but gog are lazy asses who are not smart enough to understand if they will fix these kinds of issues they will sell 10x more.
