Game will not play on Win11

I bought this game because it has Alpha Centauri and the Alien Crossfire expansion. If you try to play a game of Alien Crossfire under Windows 11, it will crash to desktop on the first turn. If you read the forums for this game, you will see that this is a very common problem afflicting many players. I would avoid purchasing this game until GOG comes out with some kind of fix.

Does not run on Win 11

*Non-Review* Game does not start on the latest version of Windows 11 as of today. Check the forums to see if the issue has been resolved by the time you see this. Great game though, on of the classics of 4X.

Just a note

GOG added Alien Crossfire two days ago. Alien Crossfire added CD-ROM requirements originally. With that addition - this game is well worth it! So Very *Very* Worth it now! If anyone needs me I'll be nerve stapling the peasants.
