SMAC has long entertained me
I have played this game off and on since it first came out. I played PBEM for a number of years, but then stopped for awhile. I could no longer find the game and searched for it for a few years, and discovered it on GOG. Now I am buying it for friends and hoping to get them into playing PBEM as well. It is a well-designed game, almost elegant, but the AI could be more intelligent, as the best way to play it is against human players. Very thankful to GOG for making this game available again.
