Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri™ Planetary Pack

I use to play this game alot back when there were computers that could run this with out modding the game, twas the most fun I ever had ever back then, looking forward to having as much fun again.

I have felt the need to revisit this game more than any other I have ever played. Each time I still have a blast. I do often get confused why the later Civ games did not include some of AC's features.

i don't think that i need to add much more in reviews since so much has been written on this game except for a new very import things . This game is one of the "eternal" and most played games since its release , buy it, play it!. I have bought games from 'GOG' for almost 3 years and the inclusion/ update was a sheer joy as GOG.com has always always proven itself in customer service, follow ups on updates to games and even free inclusions /add ons and even expansions to games! Need i say more ? great investment in both game and game distributor indeed ! thanks yet again GoG !

Now bring Alien Crossfire, please, pretty please? SMAC is the epitome of turn-based empire building games. A must have for all strat game fans.

I actually own this on disc, not the GOG version...but I am thankful a real "diamond in the rough" like this game has made it to GOG. In my opinion, this surpasses any of the Civilization games...it certainly has eaten up more of my hours than all other Sid Meyer games combined. And, if you somehow manage to get bored of the original version, you could always install the expansion pack, Alien Crossfire, to get new technologies, new factions, and new ways to win.
