A nice VN that doesn't feel massproduced
If you've someone sworn off VNs after trying a couple (possibly with "sakura [blank]" in the name, or from Dharker Studio), you may want to make another try with this. LiS put real effort into each of the ir titles. This one doesn't have any game play (go to Sunrider for that), but it's a nice story with quality art.

Good VN but be advised it can be dark
The game is nice with 7 routes where the team has to face different challenges on their road to stardom, depending on the character of the girl you put as the center. The art is good, the music too (without being exceptional, it's nice and fits the mood), the sex scenes are nice (you need the DLC from Denpasoft for that, I recommend it, I'm pretty sure it's free) There are few choices but that didn't really bother me since there are already 7 routes. Each of those I did (6 so far) had a good and a bad ending, the bad one shorter. The bad ends can be really bad... I mean, the whole game is pretty cheerful so you sometimes forget the dark undertone that always lurk around, but the bad ends shove it in your throat in a way you won't forget... but you kinda need to go through some of them to get all the sex scenes (an option is to keep saves before each choice to be sure and come back to the bad end i you want to and see in the CG that you missed something).

it's an idol vn
it's very much just a book with pictures and a bit of voicing. there isn't any sort of idol management or minigames of any kind and the choices are few, but the story is enjoyable and i really like it. i especially liked how much characterization they gave protagonist/producer-kun. the girls are also at least likeable and their stories varied from okay to amazing. that's probably just because of personal bias, 'cause my best girl obviously had my favorite story. the writing is solid, the music is nice, the art style is to my taste and the voice acting, when its there, is really good. would defiantly recommend

Great Idol VN
Most idol games/themes feature girls that just want to invigorate the world with optimism through their song. Add in a pinch of cringe and you make an idol game all complete. This is one of those games where I played it for the hentai, but stayed for the story. It is clear that the writer of this story did a lot of research into how the idol industry even works. Whereas most idols in other games media show only the positive side of the industry, this game seeks to add a really good balance of optimism and realism. Each of the girls represents an anime trope but every one of them has their own deep seated problems and issues that the MC needs to resolve. Through each of these issues, we can see the ugliness of the idol world; an industry created on to serve the shallowness and whims of a male audience. Due to that, it makes for an awesome read. As for the hentai scenes, they are basically your average vanilla scene from any other hentai game. Overall, a very fun adventure.

My first VN, it was a great experience
It's my first VN and i really enjoyed it. The soundtrack is pretty good, especialy Mariya's song. I felt empty when i finished the game...
